Who are these False Christs?
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
- Mark 13:22
The Holy Bible speaks of an increase in the appearance of False Christs in the Last Days.
In response to the question, “Who are these False Christs?”, we’ll provide a few examples below.
Remember that the word ‘Christ’ comes from the Greek ‘Christos’ which means ‘anointed one’, the Hebrew equivalent being ‘messiah’.
Typically, a False Christ would be someone who claims to be chosen by God, or who has the unique ability to provide the solutions to the problems which threaten man’s existence, be it war, plague, famine, or natural disasters which may or may not be linked to climate change.
A False Christ doesn’t necessarily have to claim to be Jesus Christ or God in the flesh, yet in 2 Thessalonians Paul reveals that the Antichrist will do just that:
He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

The Jesus proclaimed by Islam, Mormonism, the Jehovah’s Witnesses as well as others are all examples of ‘another Jesus’ and a ‘different gospel’.
